OK, we're only kidding about the depression part. Well, maybe just a little. With Christmas coming upon us, we're getting a little anxious.

Just in case you haven't been keeping up with the new downloadable content from Microsoft for Halo 3, the new Heroic Map Pack was launched yesterday on Xbox Live. The details regarding the three new maps, etc, can be found here in our previous article: Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack On Its Way!.

So far the map pack seems to be getting mixed results, and some are saying they're going to wait until it's available for free download (some time next year).

Microsoft also recently announced that Halo 3 has passed the 5 million copies sold mark.

With approximately 15 million Xbox 360s out there, that gives it a great attach rate (1 in 3).

Go Master Chief!
