With E3 2019 kicking off in a couple of weeks, Generación Xbox is reporting that one Microsoft's biggest games ever, The Collation’s
Gears 5, will be coming to Xbox One and PC on September 10th.
While this information hasn't been verified by the team at Microsoft just yet, the fact that the latest entry in the long running series,
Gears of War 4, launched in October 2016 suggests that said release date might be real. Furthermore, the website has shared
Gears 5's cover art that puts the spotlight on the game's diverse cast, with Kait taking the center stage as the franchise’s first female protagonist.
The greyish art also confirms that
Gears 5 will support 4K and HDR on Xbox One X – and possibly PC.
According to The Coalition,
Gears 5 will feature a bunch of major changes that are different but still feel like
Gears of War. Given that Xbox’s E3 2019 media briefing will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 1PM PT, it's safe to say that the fight numbered entry in the acclaimed series will be officially showcased at the expo – so take the leaked release date and cover art with a grain of salt, at least for now.
