Microsoft and Ensemble Studios gave Halo and strategy game fans a reason to celebrate last week as Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's entertainment and devices division, confirmed that the Halo Wars demo will launch Thursday February 5 via Xbox LIVE, during his CES keynote presentation.

Halo Wars is scheduled to hit retail shelves as follows:
Japan and Asia Pacific: Feb. 26
Europe: Feb. 27
US, Canada, Mexico and South America: March 3
