To mirror the performance-filled, musical event of the year on Feb. 8, bust out Lips to transform your award show party into an interactive experience fueled by brand new award-winning music, available this weekend.
Just in time to celebrate this year’s show, three award-winning tracks are now available on the “Lips” in-game Get Music Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Coldplay’s “In My Place” took home a GRAMMY for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal in 2002, Alicia Keys’ “Fallin” secured three GRAMMYs at the 2001 awards, specifically Best R&B Song, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Song of the Year, and Sarah McLachlan’s “Building a Mystery” was awarded the GRAMMY for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1997.
In addition to the tracks that were released today, two songs vying for top honors in the 2009 awards are also now available to download and sing on “Lips.” “Chasing Pavements” by Adele is nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, while “Violet Hill” is featured on Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends,” nominated for Album of the Year. From previous award winners to newly nominees, “Lips” has the music to help your friends and family celebrate the biggest night in music.
