The post-apocalyptic world of
State of Decay 2 is expanding next week with the release of the Zedhunter Pack, a new content update coming to the open world zombie-survival game. At X018, Undead Labs treated us to a first look at the upcoming update, which is slated to arrive on November 16.
The newly released trailer first treats us to some impressive stats collected since the game first launched back in May of this year. And then it gets into the new stuff that's coming with the Zedhunter Pack.
The trailer offers us a glimpse at some of the new weapons and gear, including the powerful and silent crossbow along with various melee weapons, blood plague consumables, and facilities. Zedhunter Pack will also bring gameplay updates like the ability to respect your skills all into the main game.
With new swords like Wraith, Mamba, and Masterwork Bokken and new consumables such as Zedbait, Zedeye, and Zedrenaline, you’ll experience new ways to build your community, fight off rival players, and kill zombies. All in pursuit of the ultimate goal: survival.
Zedhunter Pack will be a free content update for all
State of Decay 2 players, regardless of which version you have. It's launching on November 16. Looking ahead, Undead Labs says they're working on a "more challenging player experience" that's expected to arrive in 2019; but, we'll have to wait for more details on this new difficulty setting.
