The fact that you can actually play your old games on the Xbox One is one of the biggest advantages of Microsoft's console. Today, the Big M gives you a chance to check out how the classic games hold up. As of today, you can play 11 original Xbox game, including
Hunter: The Reckoning, Jade Empire, Panzer Dragoon Orta, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and
SSX 3 on Xbox One for a blast from the past.
The full list contains Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live & Reloaded, Breakdown, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Hunter: The Reckoning, Jade Empire, SSX3, and Panzer Dragoon Orta. I would highly recommend rediscovering BioWare's Jade Empire as it holds up pretty well (even if it doesn't support the 16:9 resolution) and is just a wonderful experience set in a unique, oriental and beautiful world.
That's not all, as Microsoft has announced that even more games will be available to play on Xbox One. Starting from April 26, you will have an opportunity to download enhanced versions of Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, MX Unleashed, Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory, Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and Star Wars Republic Commando. That is certainly a fine set of games with numerous classics in there.
