UNCHARTED Promo SPOILS A Major Cameo In The Movie Ahead Of Its Release In Theaters Tonight

Uncharted starts playing in theaters tonight, but a promo for the movie actually spoils one of the movie's best moments. However, if you're curious to check out an early look, you can do so right here...

After arriving in a handful of international destinations last weekend, Uncharted finally hits U.S. theaters tonight. However, a surprise cameo has been spoiled thanks to a new promo!

As you can see, Tom Holland's Nathan Drake ends up crossing paths with Nolan North, the actor who brought the character to life in Naughty Dog's Uncharted video games. This is a very cool moment in the movie, and while it is a shame to see it shared online in advance of the blockbuster's arrival in theaters, we can't deny getting a kick out seeing the two Nates share the screen here.

When we interviewed North back in 2020, he said Sony Pictures hadn't reached out to him in any way to participate in Uncharted. Something changed after that, though, and we are pleased he got to shoot a role in the movie (it's a fun nod to the hit PlayStation series for fans of the games).

"The Uncharted games remain in a league of their own," reads our CBM review, "but this movie captures their essence and delivers a rip-roaring, swashbuckling adventure with heaps of unexpected twists, full-throttle action, and another standout performance from Tom Holland."

Not everyone loved the movie as much as we did (it currently has a 39% score on Rotten Tomatoes), but we'd definitely recommend checking it out on the big screen this weekend.
