Earlier last month, FDG Entertainment made a very interesting announcement about Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom; particularly in regards to the, at the time, recently announced Nintendo Switch Lite.

According to the publisher, they had "a fun idea" for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch Lite. FDG Entertainment didn't exactly say what this feature was but confirmed that it is a nifty feature that nobody needs; also revealing that said feature would become available with the 1.0.5 update for the game.

Now that the Nintendo Switch Lite has just become available — yesterday, in fact — FDG Entertainment has revealed that the Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom 1.0.5 update will be releasing at some point next week.

Again, we still have no idea what this new feature will be, but it is nice to see developers taking opportunities like these to offer something new to players regardless of what this mysterious, and nifty new feature ends up being.
