Pikuniku is a colourful puzzle adventure game developed by French-British indie studio Sectordub and published by Devolver Digital. The game is available on Windows PC, Linux, macOS, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. Pikuniku originally launched in January 2019 for the four former platforms and back in March 2020 for the Xbox One.

The general gameplay involves progressing through a series of levels via solving puzzles which involve kicking and pushing objects onto switches in order to open doors and the like. What's more, Piku, the player character can swing from hooks and roll like a ball which allows for faster movement. Determined players will even be able to use such abilities to find secret areas.

The game also includes a co-operative mode in which two players must work together to solve such puzzles. Pikuniku is largely regarded positively, having received mostly praiseful reviews from critics, however the most prevalent criticism is that the game doesn't take a lot of time to complete.

Typically, Pikuniku would cost you $12.99. However, if any of that information or the game's simplistic art style has caught your eye and you're interested in playing; Pikuniku is now available for free on the Epic Games Store (via @EpicGames) which means you can download and play right now — assuming you have an Epic Games Store account. This deal is only active for a week, so act fast!
