Game Atelier's critically acclaimed
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom released in December of last year, bringing with it the classic look and feel of Sega's iconic
Wonder Boy series.
Just a couple of months after the game was released, the developer began teasing that a free demo of
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom would become available for the Nintendo Switch; eventually releasing in March of this year.
While
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam, GOG), the game's demo had not been made available for the PlayStation 4; that is, until now.
Today, FDG Entertainment has announced that not only is the
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom demo for PlayStation 4 becoming available today, but it also gives players the chance to play as the frog transformation; the music from the Crystal Caves and The Lost Temple should be enough to convince anyone, to be quite honest.
