While
The Elder Scrolls VI is still years away at this point, Bethesda announced the release of a new
Elder Scrolls mobile game,
Blades, at E3 2018. The game's plot is relatively simple as the player takes control of a member of the Blades, an exiled group of "the empires top agents," who upon arriving home realizes it has been ruined and needs to be rebuilt. The game will be a free-to-play, mobile title.
Blades is scheduled to release sometime this fall, and it looks like we will have a chance to check it out even sooner. T
he Elder Scrolls: Blades just cropped up on the App Store's pre-order page and it looks like it's aiming for a September 1st release. Another Bethesda mobile title,
Fallout Shelter, was announced in a similar fashion, revealed by Bethesda during its press conference at the E3 on June 14, 2015, where it was confirmed the game is free-to-play and would be released for iOS the same day.
The game was designed specifically for mobile devices and features touch-screen combat that involves tapping, swiping, or using virtual dual-stick controls. Naturally, players can customize and level up their characters to enhance their abilities.
Blades is scheduled to be released for Android and iOS devices.
From Bethesda Game Studios, the award winning creators of Skyrim, comes The Elder Scrolls: Blades — a massive first person role-playing game created for mobile.
