While Marvel fans have always been aware of a multiverse and how they interact with one another in multiple forms of media, it is always exciting to see these forms of validation in some of the fan's favorite forms of media. One game that has done a fantastic job at bringing worlds together has been MARVEL Contest of Champions.
A fan-favorite spider character that hit the mainstream in 2018 was Spider-Ham, voiced by John Mulaney in the Academy Award-Winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. His voice mixed with his Looney Tunes Esque direction for his character has created a time capsule of classic slapstick with the Spider-Man brand.
A new animated short for MCOC has recently been released that not only features Spider-Ham and Mulaney, seemingly confirming his inclusion into the game, but also teases something more sinister afoot. Peter Porker may have found his big break thanks to the X-Men villain Mojo, but how will this affect his inclusion into the game?
Clearly, there is a lot of news left to unpack for Spider-Ham but until his time comes, make sure to check out the new motion comic! We would love to hear your thoughts on it in the comments below!
Peter Porker here, I’m sure you’ve heard of me, big upcoming star. Boy, do I have an opportunity for you today! I’m looking for a valet and you look like you’d be a perfect fit; definitely qualified for it and not just the first person I came across. Play the new Event Quest, Framed By Fame, and get in my entourage now, or you’ll come crawling back to me when I’m a big celebrity!
MARVEL Contest of Champions is available to download for the App Store and Google Play!
