MARVEL Contest of Champions and its sequel game, MARVEL Realm of Champions, have helped create a world that is unlike anything the Marvel multiverse has ever seen. Now, two new additions are coming to Kabam's Contest of Champions.
The developers of MCOC are no strangers to creating original characters for the game. Introducing characters like the Civil Warrior, which is an amalgamation of Captain America and Iron Man. Now, players will be introduced to the Silver Centurion and the Jabari Panther.
Both characters originated from the Battlerealm and come from the respective houses that are found in MROC. The fighters will also play differently than their inspirations, with Centurion using drones and Panther fighting with a more aggressive Jabari influence.
The characters are gearing up for an April release and are sure to become fan favorites. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new characters in the comments below!
Chieftain of the long missing Jabari tribe of Wakanda, Onnange and her tribe have been in hiding following the events between T’Challa and Maestro as they mourn their king. Jabari Panther is a master huntress who enjoys nothing more than a good fight, she dresses in Jabari armor specifically to earn the favor of Ghekre, the gorilla god, in combat. When not on the hunt, she is a fun and friendly companion, but get on her bad side and you’ll quickly find yourself on the end of her spear.
Real name: Harry Rhodes. A descendant of a Battleworld version of War Machine, indirectly named after Happy Hogan, who serves as an Iron Legionnaire in the House of Iron. He is an ambitious soldier keen to live up to his family’s legacy and wears armor in the style of the Silver Centurion to honor them, he also just likes the retro look. Specializes in Recon via his Drones.
MARVEL Contest of Champions is available now on iOS and Android.
