Upon the initial announcement of the Pokemon: Let's Go games, it was met with mixed reception, with some believing that the game was little more than a cheap ploy from GameFreak and The Pokemon Company to get more money out of fans for the same old Kanto experience. However, since release the game has been met with very positive reception and has been selling extraordinarily well - breaking previous Nintendo Switch records with an outstanding 3 Million in sales in the first week.
The thing is, unlike previously expected, the Pokemon: Let's Go titles have a lot more to them than just a better looking version of Pokemon: Yellow, which was a lot of expectations. However, a lot has been added to the storyline to the game to keep it interesting and fun, with gym leaders like Brock and Misty coming to visit you in other towns, even more Team Rocket members to blast away, and even storyline closures for things like cubone and the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. The game also features fun Pokemon riding that was unavailable in the first generation of games on handheld, as well as so much more.
However, I'm not here to talk about all of those changes, what I'm here to talk about is something I stumbled on yesterday after my Snorlax had run out of PP for Pay Day, a move that I had taught him so that I could gain extra money in the game. I was wondering to myself, what would happen if I taught Snorlax a different TM move once his PP on Pay Day depleted, and then taught him Pay Day again in it's place. I thought, there is no way that I would be simply replenished with the PP I had just used, but lo and behold - Snorlax had a fresh Pay Day with 15 PP, making trips back to Pokemon Centers fewer and father in between.
After discovering this glitch of sorts, I took to the internet and Reddit to see if it had been posted, but to the best of my knowledge, this is still a new finding. It is important to remember, too, that this will only be beneficial for moves that come from TM's, otherwise if you make a Pokemon forget a move, you will not be able to re-teach it to them, however there are 60 TM's in the game and they boast some very powerful moves.
So, what do you guys think? Is this hack worth using to save yourself on low PP moves? Let us know in the comments section!
