To protect the world from devastation! Team Rocket Go Grunts have invaded Pokémon Go and they're waiting for tough trainers to take on the challenge.

These dastardly fiends can be found stationed around at
Pokéstops, ready for battle. Trainers will recognize that battling the Rocket Grunts is similar to battling with Team Leaders. The difference is though, if you manage to defeat Team Rocket, they leave behind a Shadow Pokémon which you then have the opportunity to capture and purify.

Shadow Pokémon? Purify? These terms may sound strange mostly because they come from games that aren't included in the mainline series of Pokémon games - specifically Pokémon Collusseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. When you receive one of these Pokémon in Pokémon Go, you can use the required Stardust and Candy to clear it's dark aura and raise it as your own.

What do you think Trainers? These Shadow Pokémon need your help - are you up to the task?

Get ready for an all-new Pokémon experience! Pokémon Go opens a universe of Pokemon to find, catch, trade, and battle on your iPhone or Android device. With Pokémon Go, you'll discover Pokémon  in a whole new world - your own!

Pokémon GO is currently available for Android and iOS devices.
