Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge is an upcoming animated movie based on the popular fighting game series of the same name. Written by Jeremy Adams (Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans) and directed by Ethan Spaulding (Batman: Assault on Arkham); Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge is R-rated and features a plethora of iconic characters from the series.
Warner Bros. Animation has released the very first clip from the animated movie which features the likes of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Lord Raiden, and Liu Kang. They're respectively voiced by Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, David B. Mitchell, and Jordan Rodriguez.
This clip will presumably be located somewhere near the beginning of Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge as it sees Johnny Cage first meet the other aforementioned characters. He's a big-shot (or at least he thinks he is) who doesn't seem to be fully aware of what he's getting himself into.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge will be available digitally from April 12th and on Blu-ray and DVD from April 28th. Below you can check out both the new clip and the animated movie's official trailer (via Warner Bros. Entertainment):
