New RAMPAGE BTS Photos Released, Working Title Revealed

Production on Dwayne Johnson's Rampage video game movie is in full swing as various social media posts from the film's cast and crew have given fans shoot details and behind-the-scenes snaps.

According to a Tweet from producer Hiram Garcia, principal photography for Rampage began in Atlanta on April 17.  The film stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald and Breanne Hill.  Brad Peyton directs from a script penned by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan Condal and Adam Sztykiel. 



Also on Twitter, Jeffrey Dean Morgan  provided a behind-the-scens look at his character, Agent Russell, an operative in a covert federal organization known as OGA. 



On Instagram, Joe Manganeillo provided a look at some "classy" attire his character will wear in the film.  The Magic Mike XXL star will be playing the leader of a private millitary group.

Elsewhere,  Production Weekly is reporting that the film is shooting under the working title of R19. Whether that has any special significane to the game is anyone's guess as the classic arcade tenant was always light on actual story details.
