The next generation of consoles could arrive in a couple of years, and as we begin to learn more about Scarlett and the next generation of Xbox, some developers begin to make their predictions and requests about it.
If a few weeks ago, creators of Dakar 18 shared their speculations, now the staff from Layopi Games, responsible for Devil's Hunt, explain the requirements or features that they would like to see in the successors of Xbox One and PS4.
“More RAM, more CPU/GPU power, SSD, and not meddling with gamepads," said Michal Sadowski, Devil's Hunt director. Sadowski advocates keeping the designs of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controls in line.
“Standard controls are what the majority of players expect. The only concern is, if the future generation power will not be eaten up completely by the 4K – which I think is going to be standard next gen resolution," he concluded.
Confirmed for next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the Layopi Games title presents a plot that will take us on a round trip between hell, the modern United States and an ancient city. Devil's Hunt will offer action and puzzles that players will have to solve, as well as other obstacles. The title will be set in the universe of a novel titled Equilibrium, by the writer Paweł Leśniak.
