Bandai Namco's Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will take players back to Strangereal, an alternate version of our universe with very similar events, telling the story of an escalating conflict between factions on the fictional continent of Usea, with morally questionable decisions taken by either side.

Skies Unknown is an arcade flight sim that combines real modern-day fighters (like A-10C Thunderbolt II) with a fantasy world of nations at global war. You'll have a chance to check out the (hopefully glorious) return of the Ace Combat series on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with Sony's gaming console fully supporting a special and exclusive VR experience, allowing you to finally go full Top Gun.

Considering that Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. s currently dead, Ace Combat will have a unique opportunity to fly high. The E3 2018 trailer for the game suggests that the arcade-like, cinematic combat and aerial g-force-fueled ballet are still there and Ace's spirit can be felt.
