Dying Light is a first-person, action survival game set in a vast open world of a city devastated by a mysterious epidemic, with players scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help defeat the hordes of flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. The game has also received two big DLC, The Following and Prison Heist, alongside smaller expansions, including a zombiefied Easter egg hunt.

Techland, the studio responsible for Dead Island, Call of Juarez, and Dying Light announced in 2016 that its working on two AAA titles with the combined budget of 300 million zloty (a bit less than $100 million). One project is apparently an open-world RPG, and the other one is seemingly Dying Light 2. Why? Well, last year, Techland revealed a cycle of twelve Dying Light DLC which will end this June, right before the start of E3 2018.

The last clue has been revealed at the Digital Dragons expo in Krakow, which was promoted by Techland with free artworks of an angry zombie. During that briefing, Senior Level Designer at Techland Piotr Mistygacz said that he would love to reveal this mysterious title, but he couldn't do that just yet. It's pretty clear that a sequel of Dying Light will be revealed down the line, and E3 2018 is a great place to do that. Take a look:
