Ubisoft has recently been sharing a lot of information about Immortals: Fenyx Rising — formerly known as Gods & Monsters — and it all points to it being a pretty fun open-world action-adventure game based on Greek mythology.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is expected to release for pretty much every platform out there, including the highly anticipated next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles. While the game looks phenomenal, Ubisoft hasn't really shown any footage of the game running on Nintendo Switch, which is the less powerful platform of the bunch.
During today's surprise Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, Ubisoft took the opportunity to release a brand-new gameplay trailer for Immortals: Fenyx Rising, which has finally given us a look at the upcoming action-adventure title running on Nintendo's handheld hybrid console.
As it is to be expected, some sacrifices had to be made in order to have Immortals: Fenyx Rising running on the Nintendo Switch, but it looks like the team of developers has managed to successfully make the game look good on Nintendo's less powerful hardware, especially when we keep in mind just how massive its open world is.
Again, it may not be the best-looking version of the game, but Immortals: Fenyx Rising looks particularly great all things considered, and it will likely be a fine addition to the ongrowing collection of games available for Nintendo's popular console.
Have a look:
Immortals Fenyx Rising is a fresh and witty take on the open world action adventure genre, featuring dynamic action, combat and stories inspired by Greek mythology. Roam freely across a beautifully stylized world and use extraordinary abilities gifted by the gods against fearsome mythological monsters. Treacherous trials, heroic feats and the very underworld itself await your bravery.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC(Epic Games Store), and Stadia on Thursday the 3rd of December.
