Say what you will about the godawful launch that No Man's Sky saw when it was initially released in August of 2016, but you cannot deny the fact that developer Hello Games has put a lot of work into making their game everything that they had initially envisioned — especially after all of the backlash they got.
No Man's Sky has been the game that the developers had originally intended, for quite a while now. What's more, Hello Games has done this by releasing free updates that keep adding new content to the game, and today they have released yet another update that is adding giant mechs to the mix.
The Exo Mech free update for No Man's Sky was announced and released today, and it is giviing players the chance to ride the Minotaur in order to explore areas that they couldn't explore on foot before; opening up the game's massive world/universe even more.
This brand-new expansion is also compatible with SteamVR and PlayStationVR, so it allows players to immerse themselves even more in the game, get the full giant mech experience in the comfort of their homes.
Graphical improvements have also been made, mainly lighting changes, and PC players can now scale the game's resolution without even touching the UI resolution. For more information regarding this update, be sure to check the Exo Mech's full list of patch notes by clicking right here.
In order to get players excited for the Exo Mech update, Hello Games also released an exciting new trailer to let players see the Minotaur in action, as well as the other changes that this update has brought with it.
