Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Moon Studios' sequel to the critically acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest, was released in March of this year, and got the same positive reception that its predecessor got when it launched all the way back in March of 2015.
Moon Studios also confirmed that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be getting the enhancement treatment on Xbox Series X|S, which will make this beautifully realised, and stylish title look even better than it already does on current-gen hardware.
Today, the developer has revealed some technical details that will give players a better idea of what to expect from the next-gen version of Ori and the Will of the Wisps. With all that said, this is actually an update that will be enhancing the experience on current-gen Xbox systems as well as the Xbox Series X|S.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's jump right into it, since there are quite a few things that will get fans excited for the update.
According to Moon Studios, Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Xbox Series X|S will be locked at 120FPS and 4K HDR, and even offering 6K supersampled mode that will output in 4K HDR and run at 60FPS. The developer has also enhanced the game's loading times, revealing that they will definitely be faster.
