Anything Rockstar does is massively exciting, so it really should come as no surprise that a simple logo has got everyone talking. As you can see below, they've shared an image of the company logo on top of the red texture most closely associated with Red Dead Redemption. As a result, speculation that we're finally getting a sequel on the current generation of consoles has gone into overdrive this afternoon.

There have been rumours some time about a follow-up, with conflicting reports about it possibly being a prequel to the original and it being set in New Bordeaux, the location used in Take-Two's Mafia 3.

It's possible that this will end up being confirmation of a re-release of a remastered Red Dead Redemption, but that would definitely be more than a little disappointing. There's no way of saying when an actual announcement will come from Rockstead, but one day this week seems likely following the release of this teaser. We'll have to wait and see, but let us know your theories in the usual place.
