In August of 2018, developers Dotemu, Guard Crush, and Lizardcube announced that they were bringing back Sega's iconic Streets of Rage series; sharing a phenomenal, and beautifully animated teaser trailer for Streets of Rage 4.
The announcement trailer left long-time fans of the series wanting to know more about the project, especially since the development team had already s, and successfully revived the Wonder Boy series with a beautiful hand-drawn remaster of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap.
Ever since the game was announced, the developers have played coy when asked about an official release date for Streets of Rage 4, and today they have finally revealed that the highly anticipated beat 'em up will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam) on the 30th of April.
With the announcement the developers also took the opportunity to share a brand-new trailer that shows off Battle Mode — a returning mode first introduced in Streets of Rage 2 — where players will be able to fight their friends in Versus or Team mode in 8 battle arenas.
