Death's Gambit is finally about to come out after being announced almost 4 years ago. The game, developed by White Rabbit LLC and published by Adult Swim, was initially revealed in February of 2015 and some people even began to believe it had silently been cancelled.

Death's Gambit is an action-RPG game that takes some notes from the book of Dark Souls, in which players will have to arm themselves with powerful weapons and abilities in order to venture into unforgiving lands full of secrets, as well twisted characters that will make their adventure a tough one.

Back in May, we finally got some more news about the game and an official release date, putting at ease any concerns regarding the state of the project, and the game will be coming out for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on the 14th of August. Now, we are treated with a brand new cinematic trailer that also shows off the game's world, some of its combat, that bautiful pixel art, and sheds some light on the game's story.

Check it out:

As an agent of Death bound to his service, unravel the mystery of Siradon and discover the true price of immortality. Death's Gambit is available for pre-order now on PS4.

Death's Gambit will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on the 14th of August.
