Ubisoft's insistence on releasing yearly Assassin's Creed games has led to some very hit and miss instalments of the franchise, but it's fair to say that they excelled themselves while telling the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. We followed his story across Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, we followed his story from start to finish.
Now, a listing on the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee website points to those games being released as Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection (which previously came out on the PS3 in 2012) on the current generation of consoles, a pleasant surprise, and something which may very well help fill the void until the next chapter comes out. Ubisoft has confirmed that's coming in 2017.
With an Assassin's Creed movie set to be released in December, The Ezio Collection coming this Christmas to coincide with that would be smart, and a treat for PlayStation 4 and Xbon One owners.
