Ubisoft announces the launch of two Assassin’s Creed games for all players: Assassin’s Creed Unity, the latest installment of the award-winning franchise set against the backdrop of the chaos and brutality of the French Revolution, for the Xbox One games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC; and Assassin’s Creed Rogue, available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. Both games will be available in the UK on November 14.

A new hero makes his mark during a brutal time in Assassin’s Creed Unity

Set in a once-magnificent Paris, Assassin’s Creed Unity plunges players into the terror of the 1789 French Revolution and features the most dense and immersive Assassin’s Creed city ever created. In this time of chaos and brutality, a young man named Arno, wounded by the loss of those he loved, sets out on a deadly path of redemption. Arno’s pursuit throws him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transforms him into a true Master Assassin.

Assassin’s Creed Unity reinvents the franchise, starting with the core gameplay pillars that have defined the series from the beginning: navigation, stealth and combat. Players will carve their way through a stunning, full-scale open-world Paris, thanks to the power of the new Anvil engine, rebuilt from the ground up for new generation consoles. Players can channel their inner Assassin, customising weapons, equipment, outfits and specialised skills to match their play style.

In addition to the sprawling single-player campaign, players can join with up to three friends and take part in story-driven online co-op missions designed specifically for Assassins to play together. Skills and unique gear acquired in the single-player missions will be accessible in co-op and will define a player’s personalised Assassin’s style, whether emphasizing brute force, agility or stealth. Players will also select a unique co-op skill that will help the team survive, evade or fight more effectively to the benefit of the team.

Turn the tables on the Assassins with Assassin’s Creed Rogue

Assassin’s Creed Rogue, available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners, is set in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years War. Assassin’s Creed Rogue gives players new locations across North America to explore, including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York. As Shay Patrick Cormac, players experience the Assassin’s Creed universe through the eyes of a Templar as he suffers the Brotherhood’s betrayal and transforms into an Assassin hunter.

The acclaimed naval components from previous Assassin’s Creed games have been enhanced in Assassin’s Creed Rogue. The game also gives players new weapons to use on both land and sea in pursuit of taking down the Assassins, including a new ship called the Morrigan.

More adventures await with additional Assassin’s Creed content

Players can enhance their Assassin’s Creed Unity experience with a free companion app available on iOS and Android. Filled with activities and strategic information, players will solve hidden glyph puzzles on famous Paris landmarks and manage their Nomad Brotherhood to unlock exclusive missions and rewards.

Players can unlock more rewards by connecting to Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue with their Uplay accounts, completing actions to unlock 30 exclusive in-game rewards.

Fans will be able to dive even deeper into the Assassin’s Creed experience by joining Initiates, tracking their in-game progress and unlocking additional content on Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Ubisoft has also announced the Assassin’s Creed Unity Season Pass, which includes Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead Kings – a new story campaign taking places in Saint-Denis after the events of Assassin’s Creed Unity; and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China – a new stand-alone gameplay experience.
