Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released a couple of weeks ago for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and took players to ancient Greece, in a brand new story that precedes every entry in the
Assassin's Creed series.
Fans of the
Assassin's Creed games were quick to notice how historically accurate some of the in-game locations were when compared to those that still exist in real life. Ubisoft has always been very thorough when properly depicting these locations in previous
Assassin's Creed titles and
Assassin's Creed Odyssey wouldn't be the exception.
Last week,
Ubisoft released a video that took us through Ancient Athens, telling us a little bit more about the city, drawing some parallels with the current city of Athens.
Today, Ubisoft has done something similar with the ancient sanctuary of Dephi, deemed by Zeus as the navel of the world, where the temple of Apollo lies—showing us just how historically accurate the
Assassin's Creed version of the city is.
