Say what you will about
Assassin's Creed Odyssey not being a "proper" Assassin's Creed title and that Ubisoft has completely missed the mark with the latest entry in the series. But there's one thing no one can deny and that is the fact that they've made a great game with a beautiful open world with tonnes of things to do in it, and a plethora of quests for players to embark on.
The game takes place in Greece, more particularly in Athens, and all of the city looks almost like a carbon copy of the real city of Athens. In fact, some videos have made their way online
showing off some of the historically accurate locations found in the game and comparing them to those that exist in real life.
Today, Ubisoft has shared a new video that uncovers the secrets of Ancient Athens, explaining how some of the most iconic statues and shrines were kept back then, and how they are being preserved today—while also showing off some of those in-game locations that look almost exactly like they did in Ancient Greece.
