Last week Ubisoft unveilled Assassin's Creed Valhalla, with an amazing cinematic trailer that introduced players to the game's main character, and revealed that the game would be taking place during the Viking Age; getting praise from pretty much everyone who watched the trailer.
While the trailer was jaw-dropping, Ubisoft didn't share any gameplay of the game. Granted, when it comes to Assassin's Creed games fans know what to expect — but they still weren't given something to properly judge the game as a game and not just a cool-looking cinematic sequence.
Ubisoft did promise, however, that they would be releasing yet another trailer, although this brand-new trailer would show some real gameplay of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and today they have kept their promise and shared a gameplay trailer that shows barely any gameplay.
That's right, Ubisoft did share a new trailer, that has barely any gameplay in it. The trailer itself isn't bad per se, but it fails to deliver what they actually promised — which is disappointing, considering just how excited everyone is for the upcoming title.
As of this writing, Ubisoft's gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Valhalla has 8.7 thousand thumbs up against 19 thousand thumbs down. Again, this isn't a bad trailer, but it is definitely not what players wanted to see, and they're making sure to let Ubisoft know it.
