It has been two years since the release of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. That's the most recent instalment in the long-running action role-playing game series. Finally, we're on the verge of a new entry. Assassin's Creed Valhalla will take the brotherhood to the Viking invasion of Britain. You play as Eivor, a Viking raider embroiled in the conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to launch in less than a month's time, on November 10th, not only for current-generation consoles — the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia — but also for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. November 10th is actually the date that the Xbox side of the next-generation kicks off, while the PlayStation 5 launches three days later.
Nevertheless; Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Valhalla has finally gone gold! That is to say that development has reached a stage in which the game is now being printed onto discs.
"We're extremely proud to share that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has gone gold!" the announcement tweet reads (via @AssassinsCreed), accompanied by a cute trumpet emoji. "On behalf of everyone working on the game, we can't wait to see how your own Viking saga unfolds. Your journey to glory starts on November 10." Check it out below:
