Dust: An Elysian Tail is an action role-playing game developed by independent animator and game developer Dean Dodrill. It was originally released for the Xbox 360 in 2012, getting ported to Windows, macOS, and Linux in 2013, and a PlayStation 4 port a year later.

The game's world has been completely hand-painted by the developer, who gives Dust: An Elysian Tail a very unique, and appealing art style. Gameplay-wise, the game is an action-packed platformer that encourages exploration by offering players rewards that cane upgrade their attacks.

In Dust: An Elysian Tail players will be battling hordes of enemies with a combat system that is described as easy to learn but difficult to master. Role-playing elements will have players going on quests to help villagers, and discovering secrets within the game's world.

Today, Nintendo has released a new trailer for Dust: An Elysian Tail that shows off the game's beautiful hand-drawn world and the game's fast-paced combat as the game has become available for the Nintendo Switch today.

Take a look:

As the mysterious warrior, Dust, your action-packed journey will take you from peaceful glades to snowy mountaintops and beyond.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is available for the Nintendo Switch today.
