It was announced during Ubisoft's E3 conference that, from today until June 18th, the PC Starter Edition of For Honor is available for free on UPlay.
They also revealed two new trailers which showed off a ton of intriguing details about an upcoming DLC udpate - which will be available on October 16th.
A new faction in the form of the Chinese-based Wu Lin Warriors. The new faction will consist of four different heroes;
-
The Shaolin warrior monks who wield a mighty staff.
-
The Tiandi who are charged with protecting royalty.
-
The Jiang Jun who wield a guandao and lead armies.
-
The Nuxia who served as trained bodyguards and assassins.
The game will also be adding a new 4v4 multiplayer game-mode called "Breach" in which the attacking team must break through the gates of a heavily-defended castle which is armed with ballistae, fire cauldrons, and archers. The defenders objective is to prevent attackers from breaking down the main gates with a battering ram and taking out the lord of the castle.
