For Honor debuted last February and became quite a hit among gamers. Due to many issues with online infrastructure and repetitive gameplay, a big group of players has decided to abandon the game since that moment. But Ubisoft doesn't give up, just added dedicated servers and still introduces new and mostly free content (like a brand new arena and Training Mode).
The upcoming free weekend with For Honor on Xbox One will start on May 3, 2018 at 1am PDT, and will end on May 7, 2018 at 12am PDT, PlayStation 4's will start on May 3, 2018 at 1am PDT, and will end on May 7, 2018 at 12am PDT, and the PC's will start on May 3, 2018 at 10am PDT, and will end on May 6, 2018 at 1pm PDT with the PlayStation 4 & PC pre-load available starting May 1, 2018 at 12am PDT.
All progress made during the period will be transferable when you purchase the game, and if you train with your apprentice friends, you can both earn a bounty with the Warrior Training Program.
