Resident Evil 4 was such a revolutionary and admired game (known in Japan as Biohazard 4) was a 2005  survival horror third-person shooter for the GameCube and PlayStation 2.  It's generally thought of as the best entry in the RE franchise and was remastered for the Wii in 2007, iOS in 2008 and Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011.  Now, the game is set to recieve yet another remaster for the Xbox One and PS4, which will be released on August 30.  Check out two gameplay videos below from Resident Evil's Japanese YouTube channel.






The remastered editions for the PS4 and Xbox One will only set you back $19.99.

Both next-gen versions of Resident Evil 4  run at 60fps and 1080p. All previously released DLC is also included such as  Ada’s side story, New Game + mode and Mercenaries mode.

Previously, Capcom released PS4 and Xbox One HD re-releases for Resident Evil 6 (March 2016) and Resident Evil 5 (June 2016).  The next installment in the franchise, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard[, will be released on January 24, 2017.
