Capcom is giving players the chance to get every single one of the unlockables in the acclaimed
Resident Evil 2 remake, and all they have to do is purchase the new All In-Game Rewards DLC.
The All In-Game Rewards DLC will retail for $4.99, and it will give players access to
The 4th Survivor and
The Tofu Survivor game modes, which are not available for the player until they finish the game's main campaign.
This downloadable content is also unlocking all of the game's costumes, concept art, weapons, and pretty much everything not available at the beginning of the game; further proving that long-gone are the days when players actually had to make an effort to earn these rewards.
Resident Evil 2 can be a bit too difficult for newcomers to the series, and even season
Resident Evil players — especially when it comes to attempting to unlock everything in the game — and now they'll be able to get everything without putting in the extra work required.
The good news is that none of the rewards are required to enjoy
Resident Evil 2, so the All In-Game Rewards DLC is not really necessary; it's just disappointing that now there's no incentive to get all of the unlockables when players can easily, and shamelessly, purchase them from the store.
The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely re-built from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game.
Resident Evil 2 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
