Late last month, Capcom confirmed that there will be a playable demo for their upcoming remake of
Resident Evil 3 —
as you can see here. At the time, it was teased that more details would be revealed in the near future — that time is now.
Recently, a new trailer for
Resident Evil 3 Remake was released which confirms the playable demo will be available from Thursday, March 19th (that's just three days from now). What's more, an open beta for
Resident Evil Resistance will go live on Friday, March 27th. Shortly thereafter, the full game itself will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd.
Resident Evil Resistance is the online multiplayer mode that comes along with
Resident Evil 3 Remake — in place of the original's Mercenaries mode. Beyond the release date reveal; the announcement trailer doesn't feature a whole lot other than some cool, new shots of both Jill Valentine and the Nemesis T-Type monster in action.
Regardless, you can check it out below (via the official
Resident Evil YouTube channel):
Resident Evil 3 remake will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC from April 3rd, 2020.
