Based on the original game from 1999 that released for the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo GameCube; Resident Evil 3 Remake is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd. You play as Jill Valentine and must fight your way through hordes of zombies that fill Raccoon City whilst being pursued by the terrifying Nemesis T-Type.

Yesterday, we got an in-depth look at the upcoming remake thanks to some high-definition images that managed to make their way online — check those out here. However, we'll soon be able to make our own way through Raccoon City as Capcom has confirmed that a playable demo for Resident Evil 3 Remake will release prior to the full game's launch.

It's said that more details to do with the playable demo will be revealed very soon. Given that there's just over a month until the game releases, we can expect that the demo will release within the coming weeks. The playable demo will likely be akin to that of the Resident Evil 2 Remake wherein you're alotted thirty minutes to do with as you please.

We'll be sure to let you know everything you need to about the playable demo once the details are disclosed. You can check out the announcement tweet below (via @RE_Games):

Resident Evil 3 remake will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC from April 3rd, 2020.
