Earlier in August, we learned that Capcom was working on a new project based on their
Resident Evil series — as the developer began recruting Resident Evil Ambassadors to playtest for a brand-new game; details about it, however, were pretty vague.
The secret project was called
Project Resistance, and was hinted to be a four-player cooperative game in the same vein of
Resident Evil Outbreak; where players could team up with other players, either locally or online, to complete scenarios.
Capcom revealed that they would be giving us more details about
Project Resistance during this year's Tokyo Game Show — which will be taking place from the 11th of September until the 15th of September, andtoday they have released a teaser trailer ahead of the event.
What's even more interesting is that it seems that it will be a 4-versus-1 multiplayer game, as the trailer for
Project Resistance alludes to one player controlling sending in zombies and lickers to attack the other 4 players, and also seems to be able to control Mr. X.
