Capcom has released a few short clips for the highly anticipated remake of
Resident Evil 2, giving us a chance to see Raccoon City completely re-built from the ground up. The aforementioned clips are focused on Leon S. Kennedy's arriving at the Raccoon City Police Department, hordes of zombies, Lieutenant Marvin Branagh, and Leon’s reunion with Claire Redfield, the other main protagonist.
Just like the original
Resident Evil 2, the upcoming remake will feature two extended campaigns to provide players with totally different points of view to the core horror story. The player will have a chance to experience the tragic events from the perspectives of Claire Redfield, the younger sister of BSAA operative and former S.T.A.R.S. member Chris Redfield, and federal agent Leon Kennedy.
While the reimagined version of
Resident Evil 2 should be an interesting experience for those who haven't played the "old" version of the game yet, players who are familiar with
Resident Evil 2 should also look forward to the title, as it won't be faithful one to one. Despite being a zombie title, Capcom wants to keep the game as fresh as possible - that's why they don't call it
Resident Evil 2 Remake.
