A couple of weeks ago, we reported about a rumour doing the rounds, which seem to suggest that
Capcom was working on a remake for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis; a remake in the same vein of the critically acclaimed
Resident Evil 2 remake released earlier this year.
Just last Thursday, there was some more information regarding Capcom; this time, revealing that the developer still had, at the very least,
on more game to unveil before the end of the year.
While the game itself was anybody's guess, it could still point to being the long-rumoured
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake that fans have been clamouring for; something that Capcom is well aware of, and
has even addressed in the past.
As it turns out, Capcom was actually working on a
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake, and it has been unofficially confirmed — as brand-new covers for the remade versions of the classic survival horror title make their way online via
Gamstat, which is a site that tracks new titles being added to the PlayStation Network.
As mentioned earlier, Capcom has yet to reveal one more game, and said title is expected to be unveiled during Jump Festa 2020; an event scheduled to take place on the 21st and 22nd of December.
Now we play the waiting game and keep our fingers crossed for Capcom to treat us to a nice Christmas present with a trailer for the
Resident Evil 3 remake, and hopefully an official release date.
