Earlier this month, a bunch of seemingly official images leaked online and confirmed that there's a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis in the works — find out more on that here. At the time, it was mentioned that the Resident Evil 3 remake could be announced during Jump Festa 2020 (which will be taking place around December 21st).

However, a reputable industry insider by the name of Daniel Ahmad has taken to social media to hint that it will be revealed way sooner than that. In fact, according to Ahmad, the Resident Evil 3 remake will be revealed within a couple of days. The Game Awards 2019 will be taking place on December 12th and Ahmad claims that the game will be revealed prior to that.

There aren't currently any planned events that will be taking place between now and December 12th. However, many believe that a new State of Play livestream will be announced by Sony soon and take place early next week.

As for the reliability of the insider; Ahmad has proven himself to be one of the most reputable sources around. This insider has previously revealed multiple State of Play livestreams prior to them taking place — not to mention many more irrelevant scoops. You can check out his tweet for yourself below:
