In recent weeks there has been much controversy over the alleged graphic downgrade of Spider-Man, which in the opinion of many Internet users, its current version is not up to the level of what was shown in previous videos and presentations.

So much noise has made this controversy loud enough that even Insomniac Games itself has come out by denying these accusations, and citing 'changes or artistic differences', a common argument of studies when it comes to denying the downgrades that have caused so much controversy in the past years.
One of the most popular images to support the downgrade argument is this one below. The lower part is a capture of the game in one of its last shows this year, and the upper one is a snapshot taken from the presentation of E3 2017, in which you can see better lighting and more water in the floor, which has been the subject of many jokes.

Now a reddit user has shared a montage, of what he claims to be an image of the patch on Day 1 of Spider-Man, which would completely fix the problem with puddles on the ground.
