The City That Never Sleeps: Turf Wars, the second piece of downloadable content for
Marvel's Spider-Man, is set to release this month on November 20. The release date was provided via an in-game menu notification which also provided a bit of detail regarding the DLC's villain.
The notification teases that Spider-Man will "but heads with Hammerhead" in
Turf Wars. Hammerhead, of course, is a fairly known villain of Spider-Man in the comics. The crime boss dresses and acts like a 1920's gangster and is typically depicted with a giant forehead. Although the size of his forehead is fairly normal in the teaser image, it is noticeably flat and cracked. In the comics, his skull was replaced with an unbendable steel alloy following an injury, which will undoubtedly pose a threat to the wall-crawler.
Hammerhead
was a key character in the plot of The Heist, the first of three planned stories that tie into
The City That Never Sleeps DLC trilogy. While Black Cat was the primary instigator of the first DLC, Hammerhead was the shadow lurking in the background.
Following the release of
Turf Wars this month, there's still one more chapter in
The City That Never Sleeps DLC.
Silver Lining will release in December 2018. Should you make quick work of Hammerhead in this chapter, it'll be interesting to see who will serve as the main villain in the final chapter of
The City That Never Sleeps.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist - Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, is back in town and leaving mysterious clues around Marvel’s New York to toy with Spider-Man.
Marvel's Spider-Man is available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
