Yesterday we found out that
Marvel's Spider-Man was the best-selling Western Sony-funded game in Japan, becoming the first Western title to hold that position since
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped released in 1998, outpacing other titles like Santa Monica's
God of War and Naughty Dog's
The Last of Us.
As if that wasn't enough, the official PlayStation Blog has announced today that
Marvel's Spider-Man has also become the most downloaded game of September on the PlayStation Store, managing to outsell
NBA 2K19, which actually came out on the very same day, and Crystal Dynamics'
Shadow of the Tomb Raider—that came out a week later.
The post on the PlayStation Blog, though, fails to tell us exactly how many times
Marvel's Spider-Man was downloaded on the PlayStation Store, and whether this only counted downloads from the North American store or across all continents.
