Marvel's Spider-Man is just around the corner, and fans are ecstatic as they will finally be able to experience this game when it releases on the
7th of September.
Insomniac Games has done a wonderful job bringing Spider-Man to life, especially after the last couple of attempts that left more than a few fans somewhat disappointed. The new game looks great, from the beautifully realised open world, to the very detailed character models.
But there is another aspect that matters even more than looks and graphics, especially when it comes to Spider-Man games, and that is the web-swinging mechanics. A lot of people argue that the best web-swinging was featured in Activision and Treyarch's
Spider-Man 2(2004) for the PlayStation 2, which hasn't been able to be matched ever since.
Marvel has just released a new behind the scenes video for
Marvel's Spider-Man, which focuses on how Insomniac Games managed to perfect the web-swigning mechanic in their new game by borrowing the best ideas from previous Spider-Man games. And yes, the webs do attach to the buildings this time around.
