Since the release of Spider-Man in 2018, Insomniac Games has delivered a lot of amazing alternate costumes for players to choose from. Recently, we even saw the addition of the web-slinger's suits from Spider-Man: No Way Home, but one suit that's always been notable by its absence is the black Symbiote Spider-Man costume.
With Venom set to appear in Spider-Man 2, it's become apparent why Insomniac has been holding out on us, but it appears there were once ideas to include it in some form.
As you can see below, a gamer has spotted weird glitch that gives Spidey's Advanced Suit a symbiote-style makeover. We're not sure what, if anything, this actually means, but we're definitely intrigued. It could be an errant piece of code that's been unearthed, of course, or just a visual error that makes this specific costume look like it's received an alien makeover.
Rumour has it that there will be symbiote versions of all the suits in Spider-Man 2, but with no real details revealed about the game, it's worth noting that nothing is confirmed at this point.
