But ahead of the big release, the game's developers and Marvel Entertainment have released an exciting new video that takes us behind the scenes and gives a great look at how Spidey's fight against the Sinister Six was developed.

In the insightful breakdown, we learn that not only did the developers draw inspiration from comic book panels, but they also chose not to use storyboards to map out the showdown at the Raft.

Insomniac revealed the Raft breakout, and the resulting battle against the Sinister Six, during this year's E3 event, blowing away viewers everywhere. And if you want to check out the full action sequence, all you have to do is view the footage below.

Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel team up to create a brand-new, authentic Spider-Man adventure exclusively for PlayStation 4. Take control of an experienced Peter Parker who is more masterful at fighting crime.
