OVERKILL'S THE WALKING DEAD Trailer Introduces Us To Third Playable Character, Grant

Overkill Software has revealed the third of four playable characters in their upcoming The Walking Dead game.

Courtesy of IGN First, we have now been introduced to Grant, an older gentleman wielding a sniper rifle. Unlike the previous two trailers (for Aidan and Maya), Grant's doesn't actually feature a flashback. Instead, Grant, sitting in the passenger seat of a car on the highway, pulls out a bottle of whiskey and reminisces about his granddaughter to a jawless zombie trapped by a seat belt in the driver's seat. Check out the trailer below.

With this trailer, we now know three of the four playable characters in Overkill's The Walking Dead. While we've yet to see actual gameplay, the trailers have presumably alluded to the types of abilities each character will offer. Aidan, who was seen wielding a bat, is presumably an up-close melee fighter, while the former nurse Maya appears to be a healer of sorts. With Grant wielding a sniper rifle, it's likely he excels at long range. There's still one character left to be revealed ahead of Overkill's The Walking Dead's release, which is slated for fall 2018.
